Why it looks worth seeing: The real life story of Alan Turing is heartbreaking. People should know about this man, what he did and how horribly his country treated him simply because he was gay. Now, I know that movie versions of real life events are always dramatized to make them more compelling to watch (see: Argo) but at least more people will finally know about Alan Turing.
On a technical note, the film boasts quite the respectable looking cast (Tywin Lannister!). I'm sure the performances will all be phenomenal, especially the already Oscar-buzzed Benedict Cumberbatch.
