Why it looks worth seeing: I have to admit, I'm a sucker for some good, quirky visuals. Director Michel Gondry has directed two of my favorite visual masterpieces, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Science of Sleep. In both films I enjoyed that Gondry wasn't afraid of alienating viewers by making them feel incredibly sad. He seems to understand that life has a tragic way of making us feel deep happiness and sadness, sometimes both at the same time. Mood Indigo looks like it will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors but this time with the charming casting choice of foreign film darling, Audrey Tautou.
